Sydney Ash, M.S.
Sydney is a Neuroscience Ph.D. student currently rotating in the Holly Lab. She obtained both her B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Montclair State University where she worked in a cognitive neuroscience lab using transcranial magnetic stimulation to study the mPFC and its relation to narcissistic traits and fame-seeking. Her research interests include the effects of adolescent social isolation on maternal care in rodent models and the potential for early-life stress to be transmitted transgenerationally, affecting offspring behavior. Outside of the lab, Sydney enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and rewatching her favorite shows.
